Happy New Year

Happy New Year to Team Christopher! I hope everyone had a wonderful break. I was so glad to see all my smiling faces this morning. They were very excited to share all they did over the break with their friends in community circle this morning. I think several of them even grew over these two weeks.

I appreciate all of the help with the winter party before the break! The children LOVED it! Here are some cute pictures from the party.

I know this semester is going to be even better than the last. I look forward to great things ahead!

College Week

Book Buddies

Hooray! We met our second grade book buddies from Mrs. VanCura's class. Teachers who choose to participate are paired with another teacher in another grade level. Each student receives a "book buddy" who they read with once a week for 30 minutes. Our students love this time! It is a great way to help boost our Kindergarteners' reading skills. All About Me

I am from Celina, Texas which is a small town just north of Frisco. I fulfilled my lifelong dream of attending Texas A&M University and graduated in May 2009. You can definitely say I bleed maroon! I have wonderful parents and two sisters, Julie and Abby. I also have two puppies, Charlie Brown and Daphne. I student taught at Taylor Elementary in the spring of 2009 and was blessed to have the opportunity to Taylor as a Kindergarten teacher. This will be my third year to teach, and I am very excited to have the opportunity to share it with your child. My family has been involved in education my entire life, and I believe it is truly God's calling for my own life!
